Digital Traffic Twins for Cities

The objective of so-called Smart Cities is to use a minimum of resources while still offering its population a high quality of life. Technical innovations as well as the networking of communication and information systems are very important in this project. For example, the widespread use of sensors and of the data they supply can be used for developing traffic models. They may also be used for planning advanced mobility concepts.

Digital traffic twins are a particularly useful tool with which the entire traffic system can be simulated in real time. Transcality uses artificial intelligence systems for automatically generating high quality digital traffic twins.
