Inaugural lecture Robert Katzschmann

13 November 2022

On 14 November, Robert Katzschmann, Professor of Robotics, gave his inaugural lecture at ETH Zurich entitled “Rethinking robotics: a future driven by artificial muscles”. Robert Katzschmann develops robots whose properties resemble those of living organisms and advances modeling, control, and learning techniques that enable robots to operate with minimal energy input. Before ETH Zurich, he worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Amazon Robotics and Dexai Robotics, among others. His professorship is supported by Credit Suisse Asset Management.
