Revolutionary technology for critical missions

Pioneer Fellows Betim Djambazi and Pascal Auf der Maur have created RoBoa, a robot specifically designed for exploring hard-to-reach areas. With its precise sensors and pneumatic, snake-like design, the robot is not reliant on wheels or tracks, thus overcoming traditional limitations.

Whether it’s searching for survivors in the rubble after earthquakes or inspecting complex industrial facilities, RoBoa can navigate through the narrowest spaces or extensive pipe systems, deliver real-time data, locate survivors, and even provide supplies. In industrial settings, the robot also assists with maintenance, helping to identify problems early on and thus prevent larger damages.
